Merci (top) and Cynthia (bottom)

Merci and Cynthia live in Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region of Ghana. These two girls take care of all the younger kids in the village around them. Whenever we gave them water they would ensure that the youngest get water first, before they’d even consider putting it near their own mouths.  Same goes with any of the leftover food we didn’t eat that was given to them. People like these two young girls are what the westernised parts of the world need more than anything, I know theres a few like it, but we can never have enough.. being western and all…

So, I’ve been very quiet lately, photographically anyway. I’ve been working on a few different projects recently, so I apologise for that first off.

Shown above are a few images and post card montages I’ve been working on, inspired mainly by John Stezaker and Joachim Schmid. As you can see, I am experimenting deeply with collage and getting more hands on with creating, and, I love it! I wanted to share a few of my testers with you.
